AL-QURAN
AL-QURAN
Ramadan is
the month in which the Qur'an was sent down: this Book is a perfect guidance
for mankind and consists of clear teachings which show the right way and are a
criterion of Truth and falsehood. Therefore from now on whoever witnesses it,
it is obligatory on hire to fast the whole month, but if one be ill or on a
journey, he should make up for the same number by fasting on other days. Allah
desires to show leniency to you and does not desire to show any hardship.
"therefore this method is being shown to you so that you may complete the
number of Fast days and glorify Allah for the Guidance He has shown to you and
be grateful to Him. (185)
In this Ayat they are explaining that THE Holy Quran was given to The Holy prophet pbuh
in the mionth of Ramazan, This Holy book is the only perfect source for
guidance and which shouws us the straight path. Muslims should fast in the
month of Ramazan but I someone is sick or is travelling ans could not keep the
fast he/she should catch up by keeping the fast fir that day on some other day
and this method is to complete our fasts and thank Allah for the guidance given
to us.

Interesting Science History
Microscope.
The word
microscope is made of 2 Greek words micros which means small and scopos which means watcher. It is a device
used to see very small things which are invisible to human eye. Re Microscope has 2 types, simple
microscope-which is normally a magnifying glass snd compound microscope such as
in the given picture. It has 2 lens, eye piece and objective lens. Eyepiece
magnifies an image and objective shows the image to us. There are several lens
for eyepiece and objective. The compound microscope was invented between 1590
and 1610. In about 1597 two Dutch
eyeglass makers, Zaccharias Janssen and his son Hans were experimenting with
lenses in a tube. They observed that nearby objects viewed through two lenses
in line were magnified. Their device was the first compound microscope.
However, their lenses were rather large and the magnification obtained was only
about 10X.Leeuwenhock, a dutch scientist is known as “the father of
microscope” as he discovered many things of microscope. He was also the fist
scientist to see microscopic life and also the first scientist to see the whole
circulation of blood through his microscope. Galileo also designed a compound microscope, but it was only
useful for reflected light. Robert Hooke built the first useable British
compound microscope in about 1655. Minor mechanical and optical improvements
were made to compound microscopes over the years, but no major improvements
were made until the 19th century.
FRUITS AND VEGETABLES
Watermelon
Watermelon,
hmmm how can we describe it? Watermelon, a round huge fruit, green outside and
red inside with lots of juice.Hmm mouth watering? Lets get t know more about
watermelons. Watermelon is thought to have
originated in southern Africa.
A watermelon contains about 6% sugar and 92% water by weight. As with many
other fruits, it is a source of vitamin C.The
amino-acid citrulline was first extracted from watermelon and analyzed. Watermelons contain a
significant amount of citrulline and after consumption of several kg, an
elevated concentration is measured in the blood plasma. Lycopene
is responsible for the red colour in watermelon.
Watermelon is mildly diuretic and contains large amounts
of beta carotene. Watermelon with red flesh
is a significant source oflycopene.
Preliminary research indicates that consumption of watermelon may have
anti-hypertensive effects though more research is needed to confirm these
findings. There are more than 1200 varieties of watermelon, ranging in weight
from less than a pound to more than two hundred pounds, with flesh that is red,
orange, yellow or white and these varieties are grown in 96 countries.
China is the number one producer of watermelons at and the U.S. is the fourth
largest producer. Watermelons are grown
in many countries in different shapes e.g Japan grows
watermelons in cubic shapes etc.The largest watermelon was grown in 1990 by
Bill Carson of Tennessee, weighing 262 pounds. Watermelon is a great source of
refreshment in the scorching heat and watermelon juice is beneficial in summer.
PIZZA
Pizza is an oven-baked, flat, round bread typically topped with a tomato
sauce, cheese and various toppings. It was invented in Naples and its great
mouthwatering recipe rapidly spread around the world. The word “Pizza” is from the Latin verb pìnsere
which means to press). The Ancient Greeks covered their bread withoils, herbs and cheese. The Romans developed placenta,
a sheet of dough topped with cheese and honey and flavored with bay leaves. Modern
pizza originated in Italy as the Neapolitan pie with tomato. In 1889, cheese
was added. In 1889, during a visit to Naples, Queen Margherita of Italy was served a pizza resembling the
colors of the Italian flag,
red (tomato),
white (mozzarella) and green (basil). This kind of pizza has been named
after the Queen as Pizza Margherita and is a common type of pizza eaten around
the world. The bottom of the pizza, called the "crust", may vary
widely according to style—thin as in a typical hand-tossed pizza or Roman
pizza, or thick as in a typical pan pizza or Chicago-style pizza. It is traditionally plain, but may
also be seasoned with
garlic, or herbs, or
stuffed with cheese. In restaurants, pizza can be baked in an oven with stone
bricks above the heat source, an electric deck oven, a conveyor belt oven or, in the case of more expensive
restaurants, a wood- or coal-fired brick oven.
On deck ovens, the pizza can be slid into the oven on a long paddle, called a peel,
and baked directly on the hot bricks or baked on a screen (a round metal grate,
typically aluminum). When made at home, it can be baked on a pizza stone in a regular oven to reproduce the
effect of a brick oven. Another option is grilled pizza,
in which the crust is baked directly on a barbecue grill. Greek pizza,
like Chicago-style pizza, is baked in a pan rather than directly on the bricks
of the pizza oven. There are many types of pizza like Neapolitan pizza which is made of tomatoes and
mozerralla cheese, pizza marinara, which is made with tomato, garlic, oregano and
extra virgin live
oil, pizza Margherita, made with tomato, sliced mozzarella, basil and
extra-virgin olive oil, and pizza Margherita extra made with tomato, mozzarella from
Campania in fillets, basil and extra virgin olive oil.. Lazio style: Pizza in Lazio (Rome), as well as in
many other parts of Italy, is available in two different style, This pizza is
cooked in long, rectangular baking pans and relatively thick (1–2 cm). The
pizza is often cooked in an electric oven. It is usually cut with scissors or a
knife and sold by weight. In pizzerias, pizza is served in a dish in its
traditional round shape. It has a thin, crisp base quite different from the
thicker and softer Neapolitan style base. It is usually cooked in a wood-fired oven, giving the pizza
its unique flavor and texture.
Pizza also has issues concerning our health and our diet. Pizza can be high in
salt, fat and calories. There are concerns about negative health effects. Food
chains, such as Pizza Hut,
have come under criticism for the high salt content of some of their meals, which
were found to contain more than twice the daily recommended amount of salt for
an adult.European nutrition research on the eating habits of people with cancer
of the mouth, oesophagus, throat or colon showed those who ate pizza at least
once a week had less chance of developing cancer.
popular pizza varieties in many
parts of the world are often loaded with high fat cheeses and fatty meats, a
high intake of which can contribute to obesity, itself a risk factor for cancer.
Discipline
“Unity, Faith and Discipline.” These words are said by our
great leader, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. What do you mean by discipline?
When you go to the school or canteen, to buy something or even in public or
school bus you are supposed to wait for your turn rather than breaking lines
and disturbing people. If everyone stands patiently and acts in a disciplinary
manner we will quickly have our turn. But if you try to break the queue it will
create time wastage and problems for others.
Drivers who do not follow the traffic rules cause accidents.
They end up either in the police lock-up or in the hospital. Similarly
pedestrians are also supposed to observe some particular rules. They are
supposed to walk on footpath and cross the road as quickly as possible when
there is no traffic or less vehicles on road. If there is a zebra crossing
also, they should cross the road through the zebra crossing.
People who do not observe rules and regulations in their
lives create problems for themselves and others . The nation should be united
and observe discipline and soon it will be developed. You can have these
examples from the soaring superpowers like US and China, they are also
observing discipline. If you want your society, your country then the first
step should be unity, faith and DISCIPLINE!!

How do satellites aid communication????
Satellites,
first, what is the purpose of satellites? Satellites are used for many purposes.
The main purpose is to find about the universe, the closer stars and galaxies
where man cannot reach but need to discover
them. They are also used for accurate weather forecasts, to find out
what is happening at the other part of the Earth, they are useful to track
danger to our country.Another essential purpose is to carry communications such
as radio, television, telephone messages around the world. For this purpose,
communication satellites are used and they are ‘parked’ in an orbit where they
remain in position for a specific part of Earth. Satellites orbiting the Earth
travel at high speed to escape the Earth’s gravity. Geostationary satellites
are as well positioned over their areas they are needed and are also used as
spy satellites.
