Have you read Lily’s crossing by Patricia Reilly Giff?If no then find out about this book here.In this book they are telling about a girl, Lily who lives with her father,nicknamed Poppy ( her mother  died when she was very young) and her Grandmother named as Gram. It includes the tensed and scared atmosphere of the World War II and Lily has to go to Rockaway in her summer holidays and return back once again to go to her boarding school. She gets to know that her father and so her friend Margaret are going in different ways. She meets a boy of her age Albert who has faced many problems in his life and is very brave. He has no mother or father just an elder sister who is ill and is somewhere far away.They both become good friends and Lily also tells Albert a lie which can cause him danger and even losing his life. What happens rest? You should read and find out.” An interesting book and somewhat has a new topic. “A reader of this book has commented about it.
